Our client is a highly-successful online coaching company helping new entrepreneurs from around the world create and build successful online businesses.
The owner – a veteran of online entrepreneurship – started the business in 2018 and whilst successful, was looking for accelerating the company’s growth substantially in 2020 and beyond.
More specifically, the owner was encountering significant profitability challenges with his YouTube and Google advertising campaigns and approached 7 Mile with a goal of optimizing and then scaling their campaigns.
We conducted a deep-dive audit on the client’s existing YouTube campaigns to identify where the specific problems were occurring and what assets and tests were missing. This gave us a basis to create new test campaigns and, aligned with the target cost-per-acquisition goals of the company.
During the initial YouTube audit, we also identified specific areas of tracking that required significant improvement which, in turn, we implemented.
This was critical in ensuring that ongoing or new campaigns were being tracked correctly which would provide richer data for Google’s advertising algorithm and therefore, allow us to improve campaign performance over time.
At a later stage, we also collaborated with the client’s team to implement more advanced tracking solutions.
The client already had a reasonably solid bank of YouTube Ads but each creative required a more rigorous testing methodology against multiple targeted audiences to find the best possible combinations.
And whilst the core funnel was already thoroughly tested by the client, we provided ongoing support and consultancy to make small incremental changes to their funnel to optimize the target cost-per-acquisition and resulting profitability.
